Server Difference at deployment time

Question

With a server difference eg. one being in the USA and using the USA date/time format (online server that the site is deployed to) and then another server in Australia using the Australian date/time format(this is the development server on which the website project is created), how can I adapt the Australian server to syncronise with the USA server particularly in relation to the date/time format?
