you can not select sub item in ListView but you can access its content . or you can simulate selection by changing sub items backgorund color by following code listView1.Items[0].UseItemStyleForSubItems = false ; listView1.Items[0].SubItems[0].BackColor = Color .CadetBlue; if it helped you please check  do you like this answer  please :)
