ADO in VB.net

Question

I am trying to convert some very large access front ends to VB.net but I want to use ADO not ADO.net. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In your project use Add Reference and click COM tab. From this tab select ActiveX Data Objects 2.6 Library and say OK. Now you will have a new namespace ADODB in your project. Now simply use this namespace and you will see all the members classes and interfaces available in your VS.NET intellisense. See ADO.NET section of c-sharpcorner.com and look for using ADO with C# by Mahesh Chand. It's in C# but same method applies to VB.NET.
