Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, system administration, and experience with modern DevOps practices. This role will be crucial in enhancing our deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software development and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet application needs.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
