Thank you for taking the time to read my question, and hopefully answering it. Does anyone know what is the best way to automate my interactions on some websites. For example, I would really like to write a small program to place bids for me on overstock.com at specific time intervals. I know there are some tools out there that does this sort of thing, but I would like to program my own. I checked Overstock.com's API and I know how to work with that, but there is nothing in there API about actually performing something , like placing bids. Its all about getting information about items and getting the overstock time and the time remaining. Also, it doesnt have to be only overstock.com, I have other sites that I would like to write programs to interact with, just dont know what road to take in order to acheive that. Any advice in regards to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
