Visual Studio.Net - Products

Question

I am using Visual studio.Net Professional trail version on my computer, just to get my hands on this product and C#. Now my trail version is going to expire tomorrow. Microsoft has released so many versions with different names – Visual Studio.Net 2003 Professional Visual Studio.Net 2003 Enterprise Visual Studio.Net Architect Visual Studio.Net Standard C++ Visual Studio.Net Standard VB And so on….. I am working in C#.Net and I want to be able to develop Windows Forms, ASP.net,Web services etc…Please suggest which visual studio product should I go for and what would be the best way to acquire that software.(While suggesting, please do consider that I am a student and don’t have big bucks in my pocket right now). Waiting for suggestions. Thank you C_sharpkid

Visual Studio Professional Academic is about $100. Get it at www.campusEstore.com.

You will need the Professional edition. There is an academic software package available at a reduced price for students. Find an academic software vendor on the internet. You will need to submit a copy of your student ID to qualify for the academic price.
