upload Excel data to sharepoint list

Hi All,

I need a solution for the below requirement.

Requirement:
I need to upload excel data to existing sharepoint 2007 list and the list contains approve status column . for this i need to come with c# code or any OOB feature except import spreedsheet.Any help is greatly appreciated.
