TURNING ON THE PC

hi... i know the shutdown comands but... im ALSO thinking... IS IT posible in vb to create a program that execute a command to TURN ON THE PC ON A SPECIFIC TIME ?? hope anyone could help me! THANKS!

It's possible to wake up your system from standby or hibernation mode at predefined times using this utility which I believe is written in C++: http://wakeuponstandby.www-dennisbabkin-com.qarchive.org/ However AFAIK there is nothing in the .NET framework which can do or help you to do this though the Application.SetSuspendState() method can hibernate the system in the first place. If you study the C++ source for the utility then you might be able to figure out which low level API functions are being called and then P/Invoke them from VB.Net. Good luck!
