Sr. Applications Developer - .NET Knowledge! - 124342 - Redmond, Washington

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Applications Developer to participate in the design and development of highly scalable, world-wide, business critical systems leveraging key technologies from the Largest Software Maker in Redmond, Washington! This position is expected to last approximately 1 year in length! The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software engineering principles, in-depth .NET knowledge and proficiency in developing Enterprise level solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic technical architecture, design and development of complex web and smart-client applications leveraging current and emerging technologies; show proof of concept when necessary.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot existing processes and optimize code in order to improve performance whenever possible.
  • Prepare design documentation and participate in design, code and POI reviews.
  • Ensure that systems are designed and developed in compliance with corporate security and privacy policies.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Fundamental understanding of the .NET platform.
    • Experience in programming XML Web Services (server side).
    • Experience in developing smart client applications will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge on optimization techniques and other design considerations in tuning .NET based applications.
    • Experience with architecting, designing and developing distributed systems including demonstrated experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, Web Services, XML and SQL Server.
    • Applied experience in application and systems integration, including integration of client-server and/or web solutions to Legacy systems.
    • Strong proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies utilizing Visual Studio.NET (C#).
    • Strong background in understanding all phases and deliverables in the SDLC and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have strong communication skills and ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
    • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
    • A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred.
    • Experience with CRM applications is a plus.
