Singned .Net application startup takes long time

Question

Hi all,

Am seeing delay in application startup with signed .Net binaries. Looking around, I found an MS article which says there was an issue with .Net CLR which took too much time to verify binary signatures, however, the article said this was fixed in .Net 2 SP1 release.
I installed .Net 2 SP1 and 3.5, but still see the issue.

Is anyone else facing the same problem?

How can I make sure if its the framework or not?

Is there something special you need to do while signing .Net applications?
