Server Explorer problem

Hi: I am new to the ADO.net. When I launch the server explorer I click on SQL server, but I get error message that it can not find any SQL server instance. How do I launch an SQL server instance? Thankx.

Well one of the versions of SQL Server called MSDE (Microsoft SQL Server Desctop Engine) you may get as part of Visual Studio. Otherwise you'll have to buy one.

:) where u will get SQL Server ??? is that all mean SQL Server is a ORDBMS . It doesnot come with MS Office. You have to buy Microsoft SQL Server and install it unless you have it already. Otherwise u can get access some third party vendor by paying them who are providing this support
