Serial Port Not Reading Through .Net

Question

Hi All

I am trying to code a program that reads serial data from a weigh scale.

The program works fine on a bunch of computers. But I have come across some computers that just wont read any data.

On the computer that doesn't work I can use putty and see the data stream. So putty can read the serial input with no problem at all.

But when i run my VB.net app i get no serial input.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
