Senior Software Engineer (.net/ C#) needed in San Diego, CA

Question

Software Engineer

The person in this position will play a key role in designing and implementing the business features and user interface.  This includes:

•   Understanding the requirements and objectives of each feature and how it relates to other features
• Independently and within a team structure, participate in the design of each feature, including the user interface
• Coding and unit testing each feature
• Directly and in conjunction with QA software engineers, develop and implement automated test scripts for each feature
• Document and communicate feature implementation details to business
• analysts and other software engineers

Candidate filling this role must possess the following skills and attributes:

 

*Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident status*

•             5+ years experience in .NET and Microsoft technologies
•       2+ years experience in web services and WCF
•            Strong knowledge of C#
•            Knowledge of OO design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
•            Full life-cycle development experience, preferably on large-scale applications
•            Experience in Agile Methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) & Scrum
•            Working knowledge of commercial lending concepts
•            Ability to identify and solve complex problems in creative ways
•            Strong written and oral communications skills
