Read and write to Excel 2003 using vb 2008 .net

Question

I am new to vb .net and am looking for a way to create and then read and write to an excel 2003 spreadsheet. i want to have the application i create in vb have all of the files needed to run the vb .exe file created on someone elses computer. thanks for the help.

For the excel part you can look up how to use it on the MSDN site just do a search for excel 2003 programming in vb.net 2008. In order to be able to run an executable on someone elses computer they will need to have the .NET framework you use to create the application probably .NET Framework 3.5.
