problem with datagrid

Question

Hi...please any body help me do this assignment.I have a webpage where there are 2 buttons..and some fields.when i enter some data...and click the button1 it should save all he data into database.And when i click the button2..a new window should open and display all the records in the table in a datagrid..which is having a select button in it.whenever we click the select button the particular record fields shoud be displayed back in the original page..and it edit mode.
    I am not getting the second part i.e the code with button2
