printing to a device with C#

Question

Hi folks,

I'm new to this type of "thing" if I may say so, but lets cut the story short,
I'm supposed to build a program that will print to specific device (Monarch Paxar Barcode and Label Printer).
Can someone tell me on how you really send commands to this printer? (In general how would you print from C# app to a printer, in this case it is not a normal printer?), sorry for my ignorance, but I used to program in past with PhP - web development and I'm new to C# and desktop apps.
