Patel's article - what about web form components?

Sushila has demonstrated how to get incremental typing in a dropdown list: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Code/2004/Feb/DropDownListSelection.asp. Does anyone know how to do this with a web form dropdown list in C#? I would prefer not to use an HTML component. I am currently in the 2003 environment and thought it was a part of the upgrade from the previous version: NOT. Most other development environments I have worked in have this as an integrated feature to the component so I am disappointed it seems like a step backwards using DOTNET. Thanks for any leads on this. William
