ORA-01840: input value not long enough for date format

Question

Im getting this error in asp.net ORA-01840: input value not long enough for date format but same coding woks fine in asp. Actually a function is passing parameter to the command object. From asp page it goes to dll ( function ) and it will call the oracle procedure.same thing works fine in asp . but some error in asp.net .why?. The value passing exactly same as asp ...Expecting the reply as soon as possible Regards Murali
