Online database submission Form in asp.net 2.0,3.0 or 3.5

Question

My name is Pius Owolabi, I am an Accountant, but working as system administrator (MCSA, OCP). I am developing a database driven website and need to create an insert page form on a page that updates the database. I only want the form to show and when user clicks on the submit button and filling the form, it will save the value on the database. I dont know how to get it done. I would like if you can help me out with details of what to do to update the database using the form page. Can you help me out please?
