New To C#.Net please clear windows application doubts

Question

I have done one small windows application(coding c#) with two forms,the function is ,when we close main form using code(this.close())it should be closed and not the other form but it went in such a way that when the main form is closed the second form is also getting closed .Please help to solve this problem.As I am new to .net.

if you look at the main function in your app you will see that the form you are closing is the main form for the app. When you close the main form it will shut the app down also. Two ways of fixing this. First you can use a hidden form to be the main form of the app. The other option is to HIDE the main form instead of closing it. I would suggest hidding it.
