.net to android platform communication

Question

i want to access the sms of my android mobile phone using windows form based application.i found varioud liab rary android.net and androidlib .out of which through androidlin i was able to get battery status,serial no etc.but

to access sms how should i proceede?

plus how these inter platform communication takes place?

please help
