Net connection in fedora 11

I've been using Fedora 11 for one month,
I am unable to access the net through that......
I have wire broad band connection.
I've given IP address, Mask,Gateway........
and also I tried for 'ping' command through terminal.....
I'm getting connection, but web is not connecting
Please help me
