Mouse Events in User Controls

Hi! I'm a beginner in VB.Net and i'm trying to build a user control that looks like a button with a picture box (so i can stretch the image) and label. That's all right with this part... But when i try to simulate the events of this control to act like a button they doens't work (mouseOver, MouseClick, ...) Can somebody help me please? thks MG
