method CreateGraphics

Hello, When I draw a Graphics without using the OnPaint method but using another event (for example, Button click), it goes well but when I change window, the Graphics disappear ... It's a general problem or my PC configuration problem ? Thanks a lot Marc PS. Sorry poor english
