Making application that works anywhere

Question

Hi guys! I made some simple win app using VS .net 2003 with C#. Everithing worked fine on my comp, but when I sent exe file to my friend, he couldnt run it. I suppose that he is missing DLL files that are needed. How can I find files that are needed to be included, and how to link them with the app using VS? Can he , after copying all that files run app if he doesn't have .NET framework installed on his computer? Thanks in advance!

I hope I'm not boring :) ...but could you or someone else tell me how to make MSI or other win installation package out of C# win app project?

You do not .NET framework installed to run .NET applications. For knowing which DLLS to include with the exe I set the 'Copy Local' variable to true when adding the refrence. Everytime you compile it copies those dlls to the output directy of the .exe. It is a quick way and seems to work without having to create an install package. For standard .NET dlls you do not need to that. Geo
