installing Visual source safe 2005 with Visual studio 2012?

hi friends,
I have visual studio 2012 ultimate already installed in my windows 8 system. I need to install visual source safe 2005. but I have a doubt that it might crash VS 2012. 'cus with Microsoft products there is an order of install, oldest version first then install the newest. Since I've installed VS 2012, if I install VSS 2005 would there be a crash? has any one tried it? any tthoughs and comments please : )
