How to work with datagrid control in ASP.NET

Question

have a problem ,just see if u can help me i have a datagrid ,in this,at runtime linkbuttons are created one linkbutton is "Get Inventory" , when i press any linkbutton from this grid ,the corresponding aspx page is opened,but ,when i press GetInventory button ,then no page should get displayed, the problem here is that ,though no page is to be displayed ,the page posts ,and then the position of linkbuttons in the grid shifts up ,so sgain ,i have to scroll to see my previuos link button , ,please tell me ,how should i trap the command argument of this link button (get inventory) before the page posts ,so i can check the command arguement and stop it from going to server, i cannot use linbutton.add attributes ,becoz the links get created at runtime ,so i cant this is an emergency ,please reply soon on this address [email protected]
