How to subtract a date to another date?

Question

I have problem with the DateTime data type, I have tried different ways but I can't subtract a date to another date, eg: I want to know how many years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds are missing to january 1st 2010 00:00 hrs. Any1 have any idea? thanx in advance.
