How to run a console program hidden

Question

I wish to run a program completly hidden. So no window at all. And no service. Just a exe I created that runs hidden. Is it possible? Thx alot :)

I get no open window when I run it. I just tried sticking in a message box too and that showed with no other window at all. Running on Windows XP Pro. If I have my Output Type set to Console Application then yes I get the popup Command Window that has the Console.Writeline message in it but if I have my Output Type set to Windows Application I don't have the Command Window. Sorry that doesnt work. The console program must run on a windows os and it always gives a popup(black) window :(

Just set the entry point onto a Class that you create not a form and then do stuff from there. Make sure that the project output type is set to a Windows Application. Here is a sample: using System; namespace sample { public class cMain { public cMain() { } private void DoSomething() { Console.WriteLine(Do some stuff here); } /// /// The main entry point for the application. /// [STAThread] static void Main() { cMain o = new cMain(); o.DoSomething(); } } }
