how to make software secure using VB.NET

hello friends i want to make my software secure i.e. I hace many forms in my softwares i.e. a textile erp but i dont want that every department see all the forms of the software. See i want each dearptment to have priority. For example Inventory department has no concern with the Forms relating to Accounts so there should be no form in Main Menu realting to Accounts if Inventory person logs in. Wiggum Do you have any code snippets or examples of using login logic. What i'm most interested in is allowing view of buttons within the form based on login Id. TIA KyDeano

what you could do is have a login form and depending on the userid (or department name) you can display/hide access to forms as you see fit. If you don't want a login form you could have a config file and do the same.
