how to interact with Ms SQL in Android with Xamarin

Dear experts,

Just when I thought I will be doing a HTML5 site, now the project is being changed to Xamarin and you can imagine my shock cos I have barely grasp the basic of even asp.net...

Hence, I am writing to you guys so that I can quickly read up on this topic while learning the basic of asp.net....

Can someone advise me what are the useful tutorials, preferably step by step type that i can go to with regards to Single Sign on and how to interact with Ms SQL in Android with Xamarin..
