How to Create Menu Controls Using Javascript

HI
In My Webpage i Have to  create menu controls using javascript .
For Example:
Sales Opertunities(Menu)
Sales Interviewing Process and Tips
Sales Interviewing Tips
Sales Rep Compensation(These three are sub menus)

When i click the Sales Interviewing Tips submenu i have to display some content in  same page only  dont want to navigate to another page.
in the same way When i click the Sales Rep Compensation submenu i have to display some content in  same page only  dont want to navigate to another page.what ever the menu is clicked  i have to display the content of that menu in same webpage.

Please help me how to write code for that
please guide me or reference any sites if you know regarding my task.
