how to convert a vb project to an application?

Question

i know fairly well on vb6.0.. i know that i can convert my vb6.0 project to an .exe application... i'm wondering if that is possible to do that in vb.net... i want my application to be accessible to everyone in the office.. therefore, i intend to put this .exe application on the server. but to my understanding, if i want it to everyone to access through the server, i gotta use APS.NET web application instead of windows application. is it true that windows application can only be access by my own local computer only?
