Thanks Jinge i know it would be easy to program on DataGridView control than the list view control for controls for editing... : ) however i wanted to create a dialogbox as show below (thsi can be found under VS configuration manager) http://img29.imageshack.us/i/listviewcontrols.jpg/ By judgeing from th appearance this is not a GridViewControl it's a ListView....so i thought what the heck....but i got stuck :( TY

Hi Friend DataGridView control is definitely designed for hosting various Editing controls in a table layout control.
