how do i insert a longraw data into the longraw field?

I use the c# and oracle8.0.5 . use the oledb connect the database so.I use "byte[] bytes=..., insert into a values('"+bytes+"');" the error message is " invalid hex number" please help me. tell me why and how to solve it?

because the database is remote database.So I can`t modify the longraw to blob. another I can't use OracleConnection connect the oracle. error is ''Don`t find the entry of dllOCIEnvCreate in DLL oci.dll''

See Writing BLOB Values to a Database in VS help. Use Oracle instead of Sql eg. OracleType instead of SqlDbType. Remember that parameters names in DbCommand have another syntax

If you think about what is actually going on in the compiled code you will understand why this does not work. You can use the debugger to see this. You are concatenating strings here to form the SQL statement. Your use bytes should actually be returning the string System.Byte[]. That is what a byte[].ToString() returns. What you need to do is use a parameter for this type of statement. It would probably be a good idea for you to just get used to doing that for ALL SQL statements. Any statements that take a date or binary need to do this. And any that take TEXT really should be escaped before you pass them. If you were passing a name for instance that had a quote character in it you would confuse the parser. ie. VALUES ('Tim's Bar'). You either start using params or you pass EVERY string value through a function that doubles any quotes in a string just before passing it.
