How do I create a bot for a webapp, I'm totally lost.

Question

I literally must have spent 5 hours just looking through stuff to try and figure out where to start. The webapp site is http://www.ea.com/soccer/login?redirectUrl=http://www.ea.com/soccer/fifa-ultimate-team , I want the bot to be able to log in and trade. I was told before to use HttpWebRequest, Regency and threading. Could some please clarify these and maybe point me in a starting direction.
