How can I tell which thread I am on?

Hi Using C# Express & Sharpdevelop. Is there a way of knowing which thread your in when creating a project/code ? Either using some part of the IDE or some code that I add to my code? Or is it obvious when experienced at C# just looking at the code? Any tips! Thanks Regards Gary

You can use this piece of code to determine at runtime which thread is the currently active thread: Console.WriteLine(Thread.CurrentThread.Name); you will need to import the Threading namespace as follows: using System.Threading;
