Getting mouse position

Question

i am haveing one DIV tag in my application.
i want to display it at the center position of the current screen(at the time of button click)
i am not able to set the top & left of the DIV tag to display at the center....i can't give it static
i have used java script to display DIV tag..

Plz reply if anybody have idea about that...
