Equivalent of ocx in vb.net

May 11 2007 6:44 AM
Hi, I am new to .net and read loads of discussion on active x controls in .net. However, i will put my question simple as I am still unclear.

I have an ocx created in vb6 which is used in other desktop vb applications. Now we intend to migrate both the ocx and desktop vb apps to .net. So we plan to first rewrite the ocx to an equivalent .net control using vb.net. Can someone explain me in simple step by step terms of the options available and how to do this.

Thanks for your time.
