Different ASP.NET Projects

Question

Sir, I have  confusion in different types asp projects.

when we try to create new page in asp.net, we have two options; (1) Create Project and (2) Create website.

1) Create Project:-

It has two types of asp.net applications, ASP.NET WEB APPLICATION and ASP.NET WEB SERVICE APPLICATION.


2) Create Website:-

It has four types:- ASP.NET WEBSITE, ASP.NET WEB SERVICE, EMPTY WEBSITE and ASP.NET REPORT WEB SITE.

I need your help in explaining the difference between the highlighted asp.net Programs and their use.

what program we choose when we need  standard website?
