dialog box in asp.net page

Question

Hi, What is the equivalent of "ShowDialog" ( of Windows application) in an web form. Basicaly i want to kind of 'POP' up a window with some text boxes and a button-with which i can get some user input WITHOUT leaving the current page. Thanx Gopinath Menon
