CSharp vs. VB.Net Peformance by CLR.

Question

Hello Everyone, We had a interesting conversation about CLR executing a same piece of VB.Net and CSHarp code. On execution I found the time taken for processing the same code in CSharp is less than VB.Net. Can anyone explain why? Many Thanks!
