creating controls on images/text files

Question

Is it possible to load an image into a picture-box (on a vb.net) and then use areas of that say hightlighted text, as controls for the program. Just like adding a hyper-link to a webpage starts a new webpage. The "link" on the image executes a sub in the VB.net code. Any ideas, thanks dudes

If I understand you correctly for an image you are trying to make an image map. I don't think that there is an easy way of accomplishing this other then having multiple picture-box's and cutting your image into pieces. As for text I'm sure that it is not possible as text in a textbox cannot become a hyperlink.
