controlling web needs from forms app

Question

So i have have a task, my form needs to be able to get to a website, populate the html form and "click" its submit button. is it possible for the app to open IE and fill out the form? or how can i have it submit the data to the site such that it navigates from the page by adding the data to the page that needs it and submiting it. any ideas what i need to do??
