Catching SMTP Reponse codes

Question

Hello Every one

Sitting here working with some rather critical mail sending and wanted to catch the SMTP Response codes that is send back. But have had no luck googling it :(

Seeing that the standard .net SMTP client(SmtpMail) send method dosnt give any options of catching the response codes.

Figured i would just switch to CDO but sadly that dosnt seem to give any ways of catching the SMTP codes either.

So im thinking if its even possible ? and if so - do you know of any smtp component that can do this ?
