C# coding to view the datas of a temperature sensor in another location

hai friends
               
               i am a begginer in c#, actually i need to view the datas of a temperature sensor which is connected to a static ip in another location.so this is what i am trying to do
                  1.i want to connect or ping my ip to that static ip of my project site.
                  2.then i want to read the data of that temperature sensor and save the data to my pc.
                 
      first i want to analyze these points if u have any sample codes or any idea for doing this codes please make a reply........as soon
