ASP.net & Windows Application Security

Hi,
I've set up the aspnetdb SqlMembershipProvider stuff... for a web appliction.
Everything is working well.
What is the best practice for using same db with users etc... for winforms applications?
MembershipProvider is part of system.web namespace!
