Active contour method and level set method

Question

hai all . i'm a final year computer software engg student. i want to know about the level set method and active contour method . both are used for image segmentation. is it polssible to implement in c#???. i dont have clear idea about these two methods. i think these methods are need to complete my main project and it must be coded in c#.
