Accessing data from Datagrid

Question

Hi there i have populated datagrid with Excel. i want to iterate thru the grid get each column data and input it the same in sql server. i have to do certain validations too. but my major problem is i am not able to access each cell data. how can i get the data of each column from my datagrid. Any help is appreciated. Regards

I had the same problem but thank god for google. Try this BindingManagerBase manager = this.BindingContext[dataSet.Tables[0]]; DataRowView view = (DataRowView)manager.Current; calling the Current u retrieve the currently selectid object. By casting it to a DataRowView u can acces the row property as follows view.Row[index] Or u can bind the BindingManagerBase directly to the wanted column by doing something like BindingManagerBase manager = this.BindingContext[dataSet.Tables[0]columnName]; at least i am not 100% sure if the last is correct. good luck
