About image converting...

Question

Hello.How can I(or can I?) convert bitmap,jpeg,tiff...files to icon files?I have tried to do this:
pictureBox1.Image.Save(@"e:\abdullah akaln\q.ico",ImageFormat.Icon);
But it didn't helped...When I tried to choose this icon to my folder an error appeared:"e:\abdullah akaln\q.ico there aren't any icon files in this folder"(I hope I translated truly)Can someone help me?
